Currently Dr.Yocum is providing an SAT prep class at the school each Saturday for $250. I feel that having this SAT prep class available to us at school will really help many St. Joseph students be prepared when having to take the SAT, and when trying to get into college. The SAT is very important for most high school students who are trying to get into college and further their educational carreers. The first SAT prep class was Saturday August 28th. On this day we took a test to see a broad score of how we would do on the SAT at this point. This test is not meant to lower your spirits, but just to show you how you will improve over time in the class. Dr.Yocum says on an average he brings scores up 230 points. Over our time in this class we will learn simple techniques to help us do well in each section, we will do activities to learn SAT vocabulary, and we will all learn overall how to "Destroy The SAT!"
